Organic Madder
Rubia Tinctorium. A herbaceous perennial plant species belonging to the same family as cleavers. The plant is grown for 4 years before its roots are ready for harvest. When dug up and ground to a chunky powder, it creates gorgeous earthy warm tones. An exhausted bath can be used to create a pink after a 100% WOF is used for red tones.

These fabrics are hand packed by us and our trainees in cardboard boxes, compostable paper packaging and sealed with compostable labels.
Amount needed: To achieve the deepest, most colourfast colour on fabric, use 50-100% of the weight of fabric (i.e. if fabric weighs 100g, use 50-100g)
